Designated Broker /Owner and community advocate for homeownership. Legacy begins with Cece. Nearly 4 decades of selling Arizona real estate, her background is vast and encompasses all the complexities of real estate transactions. Cece was raised in Tucson, AZ by a single mother along with her 3 siblings and cousins. Her Grandmother ran a grocery store and her Uncle/Aunty operated a well loved Chinese restaurant. Cece worked in both growing up as a child.Servitude in community is how she was raised. It is no surprise that "Service in human kindness" runs deep in her DNA. Cece advocates for opportunity for her clients, community and agents. Having previously owned an independent boutique brokerage, another realty franchise as well as working with a local brokerage, she researched many companies before choosing NextHome. It was a no brainer that this company would fit all her criteria. Cece is on a mission to bring traditional , personalized service back to an industry overwhelmed with technology, hype and flash. Cece believes that each transaction is unique and the client experience is personal. No system can replace an attention to detail specific to need. Technology is part of the NextHome system , but more importantly-human kindness runs deep in our culture. During the downturn of the financial meltdown of foreclosures in 2009-Cece worked for nearly 10 years as the Director of Real Estate for a non profit and helped facilitate a HUD NSP2 Grant of $137Million in 7 states. She was directly responsible for $36Million in Arizona alone. Her role oversaw the purchase of REO assets which included multi family, land , development and single family acquisitions along with the rehabilitation of these assets. Her work initiatives helped HUD, Fannie Mae , Freddie Mac facilitate the implementation of the "First Look " model which allowed non profits to purchase homes to rehab/resell direct to homeowners. This opportunity helped navigate home ownership to hundreds of homeowners that met challenges buying homes vs Wall Street investors. For many years in her career, she advocated for housing on the hill in Washington , DC .Cece has held national, local, state leadership roles with several realty organizations in her career, but her most endeared role is being a Nana to her 7 Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews. She continues to teach Down Payment Programs to realtors and homebuyers in the Arizona markets. Cece & Co. includes her Daughter, Mo and Khiem. Tempe is home to Cece and her husband John along with her shih-tzu Pua. Her clients consider her o'hana and you can find Cece visiting with clients year round. John and Cece spend time on Oahu where John grew up and Cece loves to travel ( former flight attendant) to conferences, visiting family and friends. Her experience is deep rooted in the countless transactions over the span of 36 years, but her unique ability to assist each client with strategy and goals is the end result that she delivers each time.
